Know Who to Donate to in Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster & throughout Central Ohio

Who to Donate to ColumbusSometimes it can be hard to know who to donate to, especially when you want to make sure that your contributions are going to a worthy cause that you believe in. The best way to ensure that your donation is in the right hands is to research the charities you’re considering, learn about their mission, and find out how you can donate and what types of contributions they accept.

As a charity located in the Columbus area, National Kidney Services (NKS) would like to tell you about our organization. We proudly serve residents throughout Central Ohio by offering convenient, stress-free ways for them to donate used clothing and household items. We have partnered with the National Kidney Foundation, which is a nonprofit health organization, so that the proceeds generated from your contributions can go directly to programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in the United States. NKF’s initiatives include the “Love Your Kidneys” early detection screening program and the “End the Wait!” program that increases awareness about the benefits of organ donation.

NKS makes it extremely easy to donate for free to our charity because we offer free donation pickup service throughout Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster, Delaware, Springfield, and the rest of Central Ohio. To arrange a pickup at your house, apartment, or office, simply call 614-351-2900 or fill out our online form. One of our friendly representatives will contact you when donations collections are being scheduled in your area. You can also bring your donations to any Ohio Thrift store in your area, as this local business has agreed to accept donations on our behalf.

Now that you know who to donate to and how to donate in Columbus, you may be wondering what to donate.
