Make a Donation Drop Off in Columbus, Lancaster & Dayton – Help Kidney Patients in Need
Make a donation drop off at any Ohio Thrift location in the Central Ohio area, and you’ll be helping National Kidney Services (NKS) in our efforts to fight the battle against kidney disease, which currently affects 26 million people in this country alone. As a local charity, we’re proud to have partnered with Ohio Thrift, the National Kidney Foundation, and generous donors like you to bring us that much closer to finding a cure for this devastating illness.
If you’d like to contribute to NKS by making a donation drop off, but you’re just not sure how to gather donations, here are a few simple tips:
- Check your closet for last season’s clothes or items that you haven’t worn in more than a year. Ask your family, friends, and coworkers to do the same. You could even organize a clothing swap and donate all the leftover clothing to our charity.
- Is your basement a dumping ground for old toys, electronics, and books? If so, make it a point to organize that clutter and donate any items that you no longer use or want. You’re freeing up space while also doing a good deed.
- The next time you hold a yard sale or community sale, don’t lug all the unsold items back into your house. Simply schedule a free donation pick up with NKS and we will come and collect all of your tax-deductible* clothing and household goods.
You can make a donation drop off at any of our 24/7 drop boxes located throughout Central Ohio or any Ohio Thrift donation centers that have generously agreed to accept donations on our behalf. You can also schedule a free, convenient donation pick up by contacting us at 614-351-2900 or filling out our online form so that we can contact you when we’re scheduling donation picks ups in your area.
