Donate to Charities in Columbus, Lancaster & Dayton to Support the Fight Against Kidney Disease

Donate to Charities in OhioWhen you donate to charities that have a clear mission, like National Kidney Services (NKS), you’re able to see your generous contributions at work. Just imagine the possibilities – the dresses that your daughter outgrew may be part of the funding for a new dialysis center in Lancaster; the television that you donated may generate the funds needed to give a medical ID bracelet to a patient with end stage kidney failure. By donating the proceeds from your generously donated items to the National Kidney Foundation of Ohio (NKF), we can give hope and improve the lives of others.

It’s so easy to make a difference when you donate to charities like NKS and NKF. We’ve created an entire network of donation locations and a complimentary donation pick up service that covers most of Central Ohio. To donate clothes or household items, all you have to do is:

  • Schedule a donation pick up – Call us or fill out our online form to add your name and phone number to our regular call list. We will contact you when we’re scheduling a charity pick up in your area, whether you’re in Dayton, Delaware, Springfield, or Columbus. All you need to do is bag or box your donations, label with “NKS” and place them outside where they will be visible from the road. Our drivers will leave a tax receipt for your convenience.

  • Make a donation drop off – Bring your donations to any of the NKS donation drop boxes located throughout Columbus and the surrounding areas. We’ve also partnered with Columbus area Ohio Thrift locations so that you can donate at any of their locations throughout Columbus, Grove City, Westerville, Whitehall, and Washington Court House.

NKS welcomes a wide variety of donations, including clothes, small appliances, small furniture, TVs, other electronics, tableware, glassware, linens, books, miscellaneous decorative items, and much more. Make today the day that you help those in need – contact us for more information about the work we do and how you can help.
