Donate Used Items – NKS Accepts Clothing and Household Goods in Charlotte, Greensboro, High Point & the Surrounding Areas

Donate Items CharlotteTurn to National Kidney Services (NKS) when you want to donate items like used clothing and household goods. We accept a wide variety of donations, from antiques to electronics, and we’re proud to offer complimentary donation pickup service for our generous donors in Charlotte, Greensboro, High Point, and all of the surrounding areas. We work closely with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) to provide support for programs that promote kidney disease awareness, organ donor education, and research for a cure. NKF is a Four-Star Charity Navigator organization, so you can rest assured that when you donate items they’re going into the right hands.

It’s easy to donate used items to our charity because we offer so many convenient donation methods. You can:

  • Contact us at 704-393-5780 or sign up online to join our regular calling list. Our donation pickup trucks operate on a rotational schedule, Monday – Friday. The driver will leave a tax receipt after collecting your donations.
  • Drop off your charitable donations at any Value Village thrift department store in Charlotte, Gastonia, Greensboro, Kannapolis, or Mooresville.
  • Schedule an expedited pickup if you need your donated items picked up in one week or less. This option is ideal if you need to clear space for a special event.
  • Request a Saturday collection. This option is reserved for large donation loads, such as the items that remain unsold after garage sales, community sales, and estate sales.

Donate used items and make today the day that you join NKS in the fight against chronic kidney disease. Not only will you be able to clear clutter from your home, but you’ll be providing valuable support to the millions of people who are affected by this widespread illness. We proudly serve residents of Charlotte, Pineville, Concord, Huntersville, and all of the surrounding communities.
