When you donate goods to National Kidney Services (NKS), you’re contributing to our efforts to support the National Kidney Foundation and its mission to raise awareness about chronic kidney disease. By ensuring that at-risk individuals have the information and the proper health screenings they need to reduce their chances of developing this debilitating illness, we’re making the world a healthier place to live, one donation at a time.
You can donate a variety of goods to our charitable organization in Charlotte, NC, including men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, electronics, small appliances, furniture, books, toys, jewelry, kitchen items, collectibles, and more. Choose from the following convenient donation methods when you’re ready to contribute to NKS:
- Request a free donation pickup – Call 704-393-5780 or fill out our online form to arrange a complimentary donation pickup at your home or office. We also offer expedited pickup if you need your donations collected in one week or less, and special Saturday collections that are reserved for large donation loads.
- Drop off your donations – Bring your contributions to any Value Village thrift department store in Charlotte (Freedom Drive, Central Avenue, and South Boulevard), Gastonia, Greensboro, Kannapolis, or Mooresville.
All of the goods you donate to our Charlotte charity are tax deductible*, and a tax receipt can be obtained from your donation pickup driver or at donation drop-off locations.
