Donate Girls’ Clothes in Charlotte & Help Us Raise Awareness about Kidney Disease

Donate Girls Clothes CharlotteWhen you donate girls’ clothes or any other type of apparel to National Kidney Services (NKS), your generous contributions are tax deductible* because we are a federally approved 501 (c)(3) charity. We offer free donation pickup service to our generous donors throughout Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and the surrounding areas, and you can obtain a tax receipt from your donation pickup driver.

Simply follow the steps below to donate girls’ clothes, boys’ clothes, professional clothes, shoes, or accessories to NKS:

  • Gather clothes from your closet that you no longer want. A good rule of thumb is to donate any clothing or accessories that you haven’t worn in more than a year. This will help you clear clutter, free up extra space, and organize.
  • Make an inventory of all the items you plan on donating. Try to estimate each item’s value based on its current condition. Use our donation valuation guide if you need help estimating the value of your donations.
  • Pack your donations in bags or boxes labeled with “NKS.” This is important because our donation pickup drivers are not permitted to collect any items that are not properly labeled.
  • Call 704-393-5780 or fill out our online form to add your name and phone number to our regular donation call list. We will contact you when donation pickups are being made in your area.
  • On the evening before your scheduled pickup, place your charitable donations outside in a clean, dry place where they will be easily visible from the road.

If you prefer to donate girls’ clothes and other apparel by dropping off your contributions, bring them to any Value Village thrift department store located in Charlotte or the surrounding areas. NKS is proud to serve residents in Cornelius, Davidson, Pineville, Concord, and elsewhere in North Carolina.
