Free Apartment Donation Pick Up is Available from NKS in Charlotte, Greensboro, High Point & the Surrounding Areas

Apartment Donation Pick Up CharlotteWhether you’re moving into or out of a new apartment, donation pick up service from National Kidney Services (NKS) is a convenient and free way to get rid of clutter that you no longer want. Our donation collection trucks operate Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to dark, and we collect donations at apartment communities, houses, offices, schools, churches, and yard sales.

To request a complimentary pickup, call 704-393-5780 or sign up online. You can also drop your tax-deductible* donations off at any Value Village thrift department store in your area. NKS accepts a wide variety of used items, including:

  • Clothing – Men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, baby clothes, shoes, and accessories like belts, ties, handbags, and jewelry
  • Small appliances – Blenders, toasters, microwaves, coffeemakers, vacuums, humidifiers, fans, food processors, and more
  • Electronics – DVD players, video game consoles, cameras, camcorders, audio systems, speakers, radios, stereos, printers, home theater components, and more
  • Toys – Board games, action figures, dolls, puzzles, riding toys, stuffed animals, educational toys, outdoor toys, building blocks, and more
  • Kitchenware – Pots and pans, serving utensils, baking dishes, flatware, glassware, cutlery, and more
  • Furniture – Dining tables, chairs, sofas, loveseats, ottomans, lamps, end tables, dressers, nightstands, bookcases, recliners, TV stands, media centers, organizational units, and more

The proceeds generated from your contributions go directly to the National Kidney Foundation and its efforts to reduce the prevalence of chronic kidney disease throughout North Carolina and the nation.
