Kidney Charity in Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster & the Surrounding Areas
National Kidney Services (NKS) is a kidney charity that serves residents and businesses in the Columbus area by collecting donations of used clothing and household items. The proceeds generated from your contributions are donated directly to the National Kidney Foundation, which as a nonprofit health organization devoted to establishing programs for kidney disease research, education, and prevention. By joining forces in the fight against this illness, your donation in Dayton, Lancaster, Delaware, or any of the surrounding areas can help kidney disease patients throughout Ohio and the nation.
Our kidney charity offers free donation pickup service to our generous donors throughout Central Ohio. The donating process is easy. To donate items, simply:
- Contact us by calling 614-351-2900 or filling out our online form to add your name to our call list for standard weekday collections. Special Saturday pickups and expedited pickups are available upon request.
- Gather the charitable donations you wish to contribute to our kidney charity and pack them in bags or boxes that are clearly labeled with “NKS.” We accept all types of clothing, books, toys, cookware, decorative items, electronics, small furniture, and more.
- On the evening before your scheduled pickup, put your donations outside in a dry place where they will be visible from the road. NKS drivers are not permitted to enter your home to collect donations.
