Look No Further for a Good Charity – National Kidney Services Offers a Variety of Donation Locations in Columbus, Lancaster, Dayton & Beyond

Good Charity ColumbusA good charity should not only have clear goals and a definitive mission, but it should also be able to tell donors exactly where their contributions are going. National Kidney Services (NKS) believes that charitable work is a team effort, which is why we’re so proud when our donors join us in our fight against chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Ohio and the rest of the United States.

Did you know that 26 million people suffer from CKD in this country alone? And about 20 million more are at increased risk of developing this illness due to high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and other associated conditions. Yet many people don’t realize that early detection and the proper screening tests – urinalysis, blood pressure, and creatinine levels – can actually prevent kidney disease from developing into kidney failure.

NKS works closely with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a nonprofit health organization devoted to fighting kidney disease by increasing awareness about the illness, providing free health screenings, and offering educational literature to patients, families, and friends affected by CKD. By collecting your donations to our charity, we’re able to generate proceeds that go directly to NKF’s programs. Their proactive, dedicated approach to CKD prevention is truly the mark of a good charity.

Your search for a good charity ends here. Simply call National Kidney Services at 614-351-2900 to request a free donation pick up at your home or office.  You can also add your name to our regular donation call list by filling out our online form. If you would prefer to drop off your tax-deductible* donations, just bring them to any NKS donation drop box or an Ohio Thrift store near you.
