Donations Pick Up in CharlotteWhen you are generous enough to give donations, offering a pick up service is our pleasure. It’s just one way that National Kidney Services (NKS) strives to make the giving process as easy as possible for our donors and to show you how much we appreciate your help. Simply gather the used clothing and household items that you wish to donate, bag or box your donations, and label the bags or boxes with “NKS.” Next, all you need to do is add your name and phone number to our rotational call list and you will be called every 4-6 weeks to find out if you’d like donation pick up truck to come right to your home or office.

Adding your name and phone number to our donations pick up list is easy:

  • Call 866-408-6464 and requesting to be put on the list. Our office is attended and accepting calls Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our truck drivers operate Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to dark.
  • Fill out our online form anytime to be added to our donation pick up call list. We will call you every four to six weeks to inquire if you have any donations ready for pick up.
  • If you need your donations picked up in one week or less, or if you have an especially large or heavy donation load, you can schedule a special pick up.
  • Our drivers will automatically leave a tax receipt because all charity donations to NKS are tax deductible.*

In the event that it is more convenient for you to make a donation drop off, NKS has partnered with Charlotte area Value Village locations to accept donations on our behalf.
