Donations in Charlotte, Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem & Beyond Help Kidney Disease Sufferers Across the Nation

Donations in CharlotteDonations of used clothing and household items can be turned into valuable funding for health screenings, kidney disease education, research, patient advocacy, and much more. Did you know that North Carolina has one of the highest numbers of patients on dialysis in the country? And about one in five North Carolina residents has diabetes, which is the leading cause of kidney disease. National Kidney Services (NKS), in conjunction with the National Kidney Foundation and generous donors like you, strives to combat this epidemic and promote a healthier world.

NKS welcomes a wide variety of donations, so it’s easy to find clothes and other items to donate to our charity the next time you do some spring cleaning or reorganize your closet. We accept:

  • Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing
  • Miscellaneous decorative items
  • Silverware, glassware, and tableware
  • Cookware, pots, and pans
  • Large and small furniture
  • Small appliances
  • Electronics
  • Books
  • Toys
  • Linens
  • And more
