Schedule a Donation Pick Up in Columbus, Dayton, Lancaster & Surrounding Areas – Clear Clutter From Your Home While Helping Those in Need

Make a Donation in OhioWhen you make a donation to National Kidney Services (NKS), a Columbus area kidney charity, it’s important that you know exactly where your generosity is going. NKS offers a variety of ways for you to donate used clothing and household items to our worthy cause, the proceeds from which go directly to the National Kidney Foundation of Ohio (NKF). NKF of Ohio, based right here in Columbus, is a non-profit health organization that strives to prevent kidney disease and improve the lives of those affected by this illness.

With the help of the following NKF programs, choosing to make a donation to NKS helps kidney disease prevention efforts and improves the quality of life for transplant patients and dialysis patients:

  • The Kappa Kidney Camp for children with kidney disease
  • Medical ID jewelry for patients with end stage renal disease
  • Literature and educational packets for patients and their families
  • Free kidney health screenings and blood pressure tests
  • Continuing education programs for medical professionals
  • And much more

To be part of this worthy effort, simply gather donations from your home or office and request a donation pick up from NKS. You can call 614-351-2900 to be added to our donation call list, or you can fill out our online form and we’ll contact you when we’re scheduling a donation pick up in your area. You can also bring your donations to any NKS donation drop box or any Ohio Thrift locations. We encourage you to donate clothes, books, toys, electronics, small appliances, small furniture, cookware, decorative items, and much more. Whether you live in Columbus, Lancaster, Delaware, Dayton, Springfield, Washington Court House, or any of the surrounding areas, you can contact our good charity for more information about how or where to donate.
