Donate Used Textbooks to a Charity Serving Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro & High Point
Donate textbooks that are taking up space in your home or dorm room and you’ll not only be clearing out clutter, but also helping a worthy local charity in the process. National Kidney Services (NKS) is a non-profit organization located right here in the Charlotte area that collects donations of used clothing and household items to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation and it’s programs for kidney disease education and prevention.
In addition to textbooks, you can donate a wide variety of books, including paperbacks, cookbooks, reference books, and more. We also accept all of the following items:
- Used clothes
- Stuffed animals
- Small appliances
- Decorative items
- Seasonal items
- And more
With the convenient and free pickup service offered by NKS throughout Charlotte, Cornelius, Davidson, and the surrounding areas, you can donate textbooks from your home or place of business. NKS would also be happy to pick up textbooks from libraries, schools, college campuses, yard sales, and a variety of other locations. To add your name and phone number to our regular donation pickup list, call us at 866-408-6464 or fill out our online form. You can also drop off textbooks and other used items at any Value Village thrift department store near you.
