Donate Clothes in Charlotte, Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem & Throughout North Carolina & Upstate South Carolina
Donate clothes that you no longer wear and you’ll be making a huge difference in the lives of kidney disease patients, transplant patients, kidney donors, and families of donors and patients. National Kidney Services (NKS), a locally based charity, needs your donations of used clothing and household items to help us in our mission to fund kidney programs that focus on education, research, early detection, and prevention. When you donate clothes and other items to NKS, the proceeds generated from this donation go to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a nonprofit health organization that has been named a Four-Star Charity by Charity Navigator.
It’s easy to find clothes to donate when you think about all the ways that you can find unwanted apparel, including:
- Baby clothes that your children have outgrown
- Clothing you haven’t worn in over a year
- Apparel that has gone out of style
- Clothes from an office donation drive
- Unsold clothing from a garage sale or community sale
Once you have chosen the clothes you wish to donate, you can drop them off at any Value Village location in Charlotte, Gastonia, Greensboro, Kannapolis, and Mooresville, or schedule an NKS donation pick up. Call us or fill out our online form to add your name to our pick up call list. On the day before your donations are scheduled to be picked up, simply bag or box your clothing or household items and label them with “NKS.” Whether you live in Concord, Huntersville, Tega Cay, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Belmont, or beyond, a professional, courteous NKS driver will pick your donation up on the next business day beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Twenty six million people suffer from kidney disease in this country alone. This number grows exponentially when we consider all the people who are affected by kidney disease. Help NKS, in conjunction with NKF, make a positive difference in all of these people’s lives. Don’t hesitate – contact us for more information about our charity, or donate today.
